Life Skills Training

Our life skills training is all about building confidence and independence. We focus on everyday skills—like cooking simple meals, managing money, using public transportation, and even socializing in different settings. Whether it’s learning how to grocery shop, do laundry, or communicate effectively, we tailor the experience to each person’s unique needs. The goal? To help individuals feel more capable, self-sufficient, and ready to take on the world—one step at a time!

Offered in 2 or 4-hour blocks.

Helping at Home

We help adults with disabilities live as independently and comfortably as possible in their homes. This includes non-medical services like offering cues for needed personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), household tasks (cleaning, laundry, meal prep), and community outings or errands. The goal is to support individuals in staying in familiar surroundings while maintaining dignity and independence. Whether someone needs a little help with daily routines or more hands-on assistance, LLFC makes life easier while giving families peace of mind. Offered in 2 or 4- hour blocks.

Our Community Circle

Our Community Circle is all about bringing adults with special needs together to build real, meaningful connections. It’s a space where friendships grow naturally—through fun activities and shared experiences. Because everyone deserves a strong support system and a circle of friends who truly get them.

Social Connections Group

Social Connections is all about helping adults with special needs find their people! We take the time to understand interests, hobbies, and goals, then connect individuals with like-minded peers that make the perfect fit. Whether it’s a book club, art class, sports league, or volunteer opportunity, we make sure everyone has a chance to be part of something meaningful. Because feeling connected, included, and valued in the community makes all the difference!

This is 3.5 hour outing includes your loved one being picked up at their front door and dropped off after 2-3 hours of fun. The activity will be planned by the group with the guidance of staff. As the parent/guardian, you will know the group's schedule weeks in advance so you can help him or her budget for the community activities. This is also a great service to use if your loved one has a significant other and is looking to go on dates without mom or dad.
