Saturday, August 29, 4:15 pm - 9:00 pm -- Calling all athletes and cheerleaders! We have been invited to this year's Glow Row at the Oak Creek Drexel Town Square. The Glow Row is a fundraiser for athletes with special needs and will include a rowing competition. DJ music, food trucks, raffle items, a face painting station and more! If you are interested, please sign up as a rower OR as a cheerleader/spectator. Everyone who signs up will get a free tshirt and be placed on a team of heroes and athletes. It is an amazing experience! Drop off and pick up will be at two locations....LFCCC (5000 S Sunny Slope Rd, New Berlin) and the Brookfield Conference Center. If this is not using IRIS, the cost is $50 (cash or Venmo) plus money for food and drink. If Rad Respite is already added to the IRIS plan, the only money needed is for food and drink purchased.

Friday, September 4, 6:00 pm - 9:45 pm -- Take me out to the ball game...it's root, root, root for the home team. Com and cheer on the Milkmen as they play against the Redhawks. Tuesday, September 8, 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm -- Cooking with Chrissie/Chickpea Salad. Delicious and nutritious chickpea salad with celery, red onion and dill! Great as a sandwich or a side dish. Participants will review knife safety and practice their knife skills. Everyone will take home a copy of the recipe. Whether you are experienced at fishing or trying it for the first time, you will find time to relax and chat with friends while practicing your cast. LFCC friends and staff will travel to the Elegant Farmer to take a hayride to the apple orchard and then to the corn maze.
