How do I get started with LFCC?

Contact us, and we will schedule a call to learn more about your family member. Based on that call, we can hold an in-person meeting to learn more about how we can help. We can make a recommendation on services that your loved one can benefit from.

How are the services paid for?

Accepted Answer

Some clients have IRIS dollars/funding, and others may use private payment. Some participants may use a combination. However, LFCC cannot take private payment on top of the payment provided by IRIS for the same service.

Many people ask this question about Rad Respite events. There are usually 8-10 outings per month. Typically, people will add 4-5 outings per month to their IRIS budget. If there is not enough room in your loved one's budget, they can still attend an event, covering the cost with private pay. Regardless of whether or not IRIS is covering the event, the participant will still need to cover any incidentals like food. The amount required differs for every event and is listed in the event description below the Rad Respite calendar.

What is the difference between Daily Living Skills and Supportive Home Care?

Supportive Home Care, on the other hand, is more hands-on. The focus here is on providing direct help with these tasks, but it’s not just about doing everything for the participant. It’s a great way to support them while still promoting engagement and participation in their daily routines.
