The Arc

The Arc Wisconsin works to develop programs and advocate for public policy giving people with I/DD the opportunity to learn, live, and work inclusively in their communities.

Disability Rights WI

Disability Rights Wisconsin helps people across Wisconsin gain access to services and opportunity through its advocacy and legal expertise. We regularly challenge systems and society to create positive change and improve the lives of people with disabilities.

Div of Vocational Rehab

The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) is a federal/ state program designed to provide employment services and counseling to people with disabilities. It also provides or arranges for services to enable an individual to go to work. Finally, it provides training and technical assistance to employers regarding disability employment issues.

Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities

WBPDD advocates for individuals with developmental disabilities, promotes inclusive communities, and works to improve the disability service system

Children's Community Options Program

CCOP pays for many supports and services that you can’t get through other insurance, Medicaid, or the Children’s Long-Term Support Program. It can also pay for a one-time need.

WI Facets

​WI Facets (Wisconsin Family Assistance Center for Education, Training, and Support) provides information, training, and support for families of children and adults with disabilities. ​

Aging and Disability Recource Centers

ADRCs provide information and support to individuals and families related to aging and disabilities, including information about long-term care options and assistance with applying for programs and benefits. 

Best Buddies

Best Buddies is a national organization which pairs individuals with IDD with individuals without IDD to build meaningful friendships. This can happen in schools or in corporate and civic communities.
